I had been struggling with neck pain, vertigo and headaches for over 20 years. Over that time, I have been to so many medical doctors, specialists, chiropractors, had acupuncture, cranio-sacral therapy, various methods of massage, so-called alternative practices such as homeopathy, energy healing, etc., etc., that I had just about given up hope that I would ever find an answer to my myriad of symptoms. I had just moved to Colorado and visited with my primary care physician who recommended that I get an appointment with Annie Fox. My doctor was familiar with Dr. Fox's experience with those suffering from vertigo and neck pain and that she had great success in treating those issues. Well, I am one of those cases! After dealing with the thought that Annie was going to insert needles in my back and neck (yikes!), I knew that I had to try it. We had a good talk the first time I met with her and she put me at ease as to the procedure. When I went for my first real appointment, I was still quite nervous, but even before I knew what was happening, it was done! "Wow", I thought, "that was not bad at all" but the most fantastic thing about this was the fact that not only had the vertigo lessened to a great degree but my neck pain was just about gone - all after one treatment!! Imagine - after over 20 years of this, it is getting better - and continues to get better. I can turn my head like a normal person! I will be able to play golf again! Hike, bike, walk! On June 29, 2010 I injured my neck in an auto accident and was finally diagnosed with nerve damage at C5 & C6 and have been in constant pain for all these months. The pain has been so severe that I cannot function and participate in my life normally. At the onset of the accident I was originally sent to another Physical Therapist and got no results whatsoever. Thankfully, after my last medical procedure to deaden the nerves in my neck, my doctor recommended A. Fox Physical Therapy and specifically the Intramuscular Manual Therapy (IMT) that Dr. Fox performs. For the first time since the accident my pain levels are way down and I have started to do the things in my life that I have been missing. The IMT is the most amazing procedure and each time that it is performed on me I can feel the muscle spasm being forced to relax. To have to live with pain, without any hope for relief is depressing. Taking pain pills with all of their side effects is not something I care to contemplate. I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to be able to work out again and start actively participating in my own life again! The IMT has been a life saver for me and I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for having the pain and headaches dissipate. Dr. Fox, and all of the staff members, are extremely knowledgeable, caring and professional. I'm so impressed with their ability to help that recently when my 15 year old son pulled the muscles in his back, and our family practitioner suggested P.T., I insisted that the only place for him is at A. My 14 yr. old daughter suffered an acute spine sprain while riding her horse during a jumping show.  We were given a list of Physical Therapists to go to from our orthopedic surgeon.  Choosing a place by the convenience of being close by our house was the number we called to set up appts. to start her therapy.
After seeing no improvement and relief from pain we made an appt. with A. Fox Physical Therapy.
After one appt. my daughter rode her horse for the first time since the fall.  Her accident when she fell was on Oct. 2, 2010 and I brought her to A. Fox Physical Therapy on Jan. 31st.  She had gone for all that time somewhere else up until we came to see Annie.
We finally get to see a smile on our daughters face again.  No more headaches and more pain free days.  No headaches.
Our daughter was getting a short massage.  Here at A. Fox she is getting individualized therapy.
What is so great about A. Fox are the different treatment modalities that are offered.  That means that you are going to a place that is ready to treat every person’s need that walks through the door.
My daughter has her life back.  She can go back to school.  She can sleep at night.  She doesn't feel hopeless about never getting better again.
I can't tell you what it was like to see her go flying off of her horse during a jump and in the emergency room.  And then having to watch her go out to feed her horse and not be able to ride him and the tears that would slide down those cheeks.
And now I can't tell you what it’s like to see her flying out the door wanting to go to school.  Smiling again.  Joking around and laughing and talking about what color saddle pad she is going to get this week.
And listen to this, she is back jumping!  She is happy with a happy horse that missed a little 14 yr. old.  You know he's happy watching him look up at her when he saw her come to get him in the pasture and he galloped to meet her!

Yesterday I had my 5th appointment with Annie Fox. About 15 years ago I was diagnosed wiht fibromyalgia. I have bulging disks and several other issues that cause the chronic, life altering pain I've been experiencing for over 20 years. I have a rare adipose disorder called Dercum's Disease or Adiposis Dolorosa which very few doctors have ever heard of. I found my diagnosis (like most of the approximately 200 of us who have now been diagnosed in this country) online. I then met a wonderful Dr. in San Diego who confirmed my findings. That started me on a long journey through the land of medicine: noun: 1. any substance or substances used in treating disease or illness; medicament; remedy. 2. the art or science of restoring or preserving health or due physical condition, as by means of drugs, surgical operations or appliances, or manipulations: often divided into medicine proper, surgery, and obstetrics.. Dercum's is listed as the third rarest on the National Organization of Rare Diseases. There is little known about the cause of this illness and to date there are few treatments other than medication. I have been to every type of doctor and therapist, tried all the medications , exercise and weight loss programs and any other suggested therapy for relief. When I was referred to Dr. Fox I thought I was going to see just "another physical therapist". NOT! Annie is very compassionate, interested, knowledgable, warm hearted lady who has truly been the best help I have received for pain EVER. The IMT treatments that I have received from Annie have produced a 70% reduction in most areas of pain and about 40 to 50% relief in a few more. I am so grateful to have found this wonderful person and physical therapist and I'm confident that with Annie's work my pain level will be reduced even more in time. I highlty recommened Annie to anyone with an injury, surgical procedure or chronic pain.

Over a year ago I started have headaches-lots of pain and pressure that became constant-24/7. That started a year of trying EVERYTHING!!
