I can’t say enough about the remarkable improvement to my health in general and to my hip and lower back pain specifically since I began working with Dr. Lucas Armstrong. It has made such a positive difference in how I feel and my ability to exercise and function each day with little to no discomfort. Thank you Lucas for working your magic. Sandra from Lafayette
I had rotator cuff surgery on 3/7/14 and began physical therapy in late April. I found A Fox PT when one of the therapists on the list that I got from the surgeon’s office was no longer in business. A. Fox was close to my home so I set up an appoint with them. Am I so glad that I found them. I saw Lucas once and then was set up with Alison. She is great. She is very friendly, very professional and easy to work with. She was concerned that we took the therapy slow and didn’t over do. We started the dry needling procedure after a few visits and what a difference that made. I am now almost pain free and in a couple of weeks feel like I will be back to normal. The entire staff at A. Fox PT is very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend A Fox PT to anyone in need of physical therapy. They are wonderful!

I had a left foot bunionectomy and second toe hammer toe release performed in NC on May 15, 2013. Shortly after surgery, the pin they used to set my toe moved and the bone became misaligned. The result was that the foot remained swollen and I could not work well on the ball of my foot. I then went to Duke Hospital where the head orthopedic surgeon realigned my foot in Feb of 2014. By September, the foot still swelled, and there was unbearable pain to pressure under the big toe and second toe. I could not run, I could not walk far. After a series of MRIs, Cat Scans, etc. the doctor said “I have no idea why you’re having pain”. That was that — but it wasn’t. My sister, a great person and doctor in Thornton took me to see Dr A Fox. At this point I was desperate — I refused to believe there was nothing anyone could do, and was willing to try anything to get even 1% better! So, pessimistic as I was, I had a dry needle session with Dr A Fox who stimulated the muscle in the big toe. After the first visit, my toe could move more. But, I could walk. I could walk on the ball of my foot without pain! I went again the next day, but had to leave for NC. I cried, because for two years, I have been unable to stand on that foot alone. I have been unable to walk on the ball of the foot. I now have hope and am looking for a level two trained therapist here in Raleigh. I would prefer a therapist trained by Dr. Fox herself. So, for anyone looking for other alternatives — whose doctors make you feel that there is no hope — try. Never give up! Thank you Dr Fox.
Back in early November, my doctor advised me to find a good physical therapist. Fortunately for me I came across the practice of Dr. Anne-Marie Fox. Dr. Fox started me with dry needle therapy which had a positive effect on my back. Upon my fourth visit she observed, after a short conversation, something additional was wrong and suggested that I see my primary care physician as soon as possible. Two days later I had surgery on my kidney and was told the surgery was done just in time. Dr. Fox’s observation and concern for my well being probably saved my life. Thank you Dr. Fox for your caring, your practice and for my life. God Bless You! Stanley Kapron

A Fox Physical Therapy has done wonders for me. In Sept 2014 I suffered a very severe concussion. I was suffering from horrible headaches, mood swings, sensitivity to light and sounds, and neck pain from impact. For awhile I never thought I would get better and was very depressed. I tried, acupuncture, massage therapy, and rest. Nothing was helping. I was referred to A Fox from my doctor at Western Orthopedics and began to get immediate relief through a rehab exercise program and dry needling. The combined therapy completely got rid of my headaches within a month and my neck pain within a few months. My mood went back to normal and I was able to to resume my normal physical workouts and activities I enjoy to do like running, hiking, yoga. It also got me back to my firefighting job full time. In the middle of all this I also had shoulder decompression surgery. The dry needling done by Dr. Fox has increased my range of motion in my shoulder and allowed me to get back to firefighting quicker. I had the privilege of working with Maggie, who was amazing, kind and very knowledgeable. I also was dry needled by Allison, Lucas, and Dr. Fox. Dr. Fox’s ability to treat pain and symptoms of injuries and headaches is incredible. Her knowledge of dry needling is second to none, and she is able to provide immediate relief of pain. Her demeanor is kind and caring and she takes the time to listen thoroughly to the issues you are having before she treats you. The therapy clinic is clean and organized, the staff is amazing, and the results have been more than I could have ever imagined. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.
