Telehealth Options

As COVID-19 continues to spread throughout our communities, we have decided to implement the option of Telehealth appointments and consultations with each of our therapists. As it stands now, A.Fox Physical Therapy will continue to physically remain open. However, we want to provide an additional service for individuals of vulnerable populations or for those who feel uncomfortable coming in physically.

Telehealth is the use of telecommunications (audio & visual) to support long-distance health care and patient education. We will be able to use your home smartphone, tablets, laptops, or personal computers for a virtual (audio & visual) physical therapy session. Through email, we will be able to send home exercise programs to complement our virtual telehealth session. Our desire is to continue your continuity of care and further assist your return to functional activity. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Telehealth will allow your continued physical improvement, alongside keeping our communities safe & healthy.

There continues to be some ambiguity around each commercial insurance company’s policy surrounding physical therapy and Telehealth. We have currently discussed or reviewed options with Colorado Medicaid, United Healthcare, Pinnacol Assurance, and other payers to begin immediately with Telehealth services. For individuals of Medicare Part B please call us at 303-252-9400 for more specific information. If you wish to forego billing your insurance, we are offering an additional self-pay option.

Please continue to support our small business by contacting your physical therapist through this option. Let’s continue to strive for a healthy and active lifestyle.

Thank you,

A.Fox Physical Therapy
